ING Direct is the world’s leading direct savings bank, and chose Cardiff as the location for a key expansion programme. The company currently employs around 200 people here, and is playing a critical role in the success of the business.

 ING Direct opted for Cardiff partly because of its proximity to its operations in Reading, so the two sites could be managed effectively. But Cardiff has proven its appeal in many more ways since – not least the quality of the skills base – and ING Direct has more expansion planned.
